Meet the Principal
Dr. Anabel Juarez
Dr. Anabel Juarez has dedicated 16 years to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, beginning her impactful career at Assumption School in Boyle Heights. She commenced her journey in education after earning her B.A. in Child Development from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). Dr. Juarez spent nine years teaching at Assumption School, a TK-8 Catholic institution, before advancing her education with an M.A. in Education from Mount St. Mary's University (MSMU).
Her leadership potential quickly became evident as she took on the role of interim principal at Assumption School, officially stepping into the position a year later. Dr. Juarez's commitment to educational excellence was further recognized when she achieved her Doctoral Degree, underscoring her exceptional leadership skills. In the 2021-2022 school year, Dr. Juarez joined the St. Benedict School community as Vice Principal. The following year, she was honored to assume the role of Principal, continuing her dedication to fostering a nurturing and dynamic educational environment. Additionally, Dr. Juarez contributes her expertise to various committees, including the ADLA Academic Affairs Committee, Deanery Co-Chair, EDUCAR, and the Cantwell & OLMM Committee.
